Craft Day at the Rogers'

Noah's lion, complete with his own roaring sound effects - verrrry scarrry

Waiting is so hard

This is how mommy learned that Noah doesn't quite get what 5 days means... You see, yesterday she told Noah that Nanna and Pappa would be here in 5 days, now this is his new favorite spot.

He will stand there and wait and wait and wait, and when you ask him what he's looking for he says "Nanna and Pappa!"

More pics added by mom - Darren put post its up on the door that say 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 to help Noah understand how many days are leftl :)

Welcome Jenna Mae Payne!

I love this little girl already! This is my very good friend Danaly's newest addition :) She is gorgeous - and already started out right by giving her mommy a wonderful and uncomplicated home birth - good girl!

This is her mommy in labor in the tub - isn't she beautiful?

Congratulations Jim, Danaly and Lucy!!

You can't get milk from fake sheepskin

Darren and I were with Faith at the mall one night and she was in the middle of a growth spurt. Because of this, she was ready to eat about an hour before she normally does. This was our clue...

My dream dessert

A few weeks ago I had a dream about a dessert - I had never seen it or heard of it but when I woke up I really wanted to try it.  It was rice krispy treats, but each square had a marshmallow in the middle and had chocolate drizzled over it.  On Valentines Day I had mentioned to Dar that I wanted to try to make that dessert someday.  He asked me a few questions, looked at my drawing, and then told me to go take a nap :)  When I came downstairs he was in the middle of making my dream bars.  They looked beautiful, and boy were they dreamy!!!

YUMMY!
