Noah's Big-Boy Bed

Well, we did it! We took the side off of Noah's crib and turned it into a daybed with the potential for escape and complete chaos... I was seriously worried that Noah would get up in the night and find chemicals, start fires, and just overall get into trouble (nevermind the fact that it would be dark and even if he did get up he would probably just run to our room).

First night he slid out after 10 minutes and daddy put him back in. A couple weeks later and he hasn't gotten out of bed since! He sleeps through the night and naps just fine :) We are so proud of him!

Every night he "nests" by taking every blanket in a 10 ft. radius and every stuffed animal and shoving them into the head of the bad before he nuzzles in...

Our trip to NYC

Okay, peeps... it's been awhile since I've blogged and I've developed a bit of a backlog. Ugh. The task of updating seems insurmountable since many things have happened. A trip, a birthday, an anniversary - and of course countless moments of Noah cuteness. I will probably have lots of pics filling in space with just bits of explanation. So here goes...

Grand Central Station - D doing some trick photography (people are blurry but I'm not)

THE Magnolia Bakery (which compared to Jenny's, their cupcakes were just so-so)

My first cart hotdog!!! (first of many I might add)

I was able to put "I love you darren rogers!" on a billboard :)

Interesting signs around NY

We got to spend some time with my southern California friend Carrie and her super sweet hubby Jason. They showed us around and really added to our experience :)

We went to see Mamma Mia and it was awesome! I called it a "shot o' happy" :)

Little did we know that when we got out at 10:40 pm - NY would just be waking up! The nightlife was just beginning and there were people everywhere! We decided to stay up too and ended up eating the most amazing pizza at Famiglia's. MMMMMMMM

The naked cowboy - ewwwwwww! I won't hurt your eyes by showing you the 60+ old woman that joins him now, in a full on saggy bikini top and jean mini - we called her the naked cowboy's grandma. Now THAT was icky.

Riding the subway

Now if you are wondering "Where was poor Noah in all of this?" Fret no more! Here are some pics auntie Jenny sent us from their weekend together...
