Optimus Prime and...um... Bumblebee

Snow-mobil and bag crafts

Both kids LOVE to play with playmobil people. Two of their favorite places to play with them are the sink and in a tray of baking soda "snow" :)

I have a ton of pics of Noah's Playmobil scenes that I will have to put up sometime :)

With Noah's allergies being terrible this last month, I've turned to indoor crafts. I was happy to find that a couple of paper bags and a package of googly eyes from the $1 section at target go a long way!

Dr. Noah Drill & Fill and his assistant Faith

Noah's Nana and Papa got him something for his birthday that he has been wanting for awhile... the Play Doh Dr. Drill & Fill. Upon receiving it he immediately opened up his Dental Practice and got to work. My job was to alternate between being his assistant and a mom bringing her little boy in for some work :)

Open for business!

They may look white, but they are full of cavities!

5 years ago today, I became a mom...

It's not many women that get to celebrate Mother's Day AND their oldest child's birthday on the same day. It's actually a really cool feeling!

Five years ago today I took on the most important job I will ever have - the job of mom. It came along with PPD and all sorts of new-mom jitters, but it has been the greatest gift I have ever received. The love I feel from Noah and Faith is so incredible, my life would be completely dull and shallow without them. Being a mom can be hard, and suffocating, and challenging... but it is also rewarding, and fulfilling, and an honor.

My heart became complete the day I became a mom.

Kidless Art & Wine Festival

This was the first year since moving to Livermore that Darren and I were able to go to the festival with out a bun in the oven or a child in a stroller. Darren had also gone the extra mile and reserved a room for us in a local B&B. Needless to say, we had a fun time just hanging out, eating, reading, and being friends :)
